Booking Terms

Bentley Lodge Torquay


1. Reservation-
To secure your reservation here with us at Bentley Lodge, we will require a 25% deposit which can be paid via debit or credit card or bank transfer. You can use an alternative card to clear the outstanding balance. If we fail to receive a deposit we reserve the right to reject the booking at any point.

2. Cancellations & Insurance-
We recommend you have travel insurance as cancellations or changes to your booking can sometimes incur fees. Should you need to cancel or amend a booking please contact me (Debbie) as soon as you can. If your booking is through a 3rd party, for example booking.com, you will need to contact them also.
A holiday booking is a legally binding contract. If you fall ill, have an accident, become redundant or are otherwise prevented from taking your holiday and we are unable to re-let your accommodation, there could be a cancellation charge. This could be as much as the full cost of your holiday.

Bookings that are flexible and provided we are given more than 14 days notice prior to your arrival date, we will refund the deposit. if you need to cancel or amend a booking within the 14 days prior to your arrival, you will remain liable for the total accommodation cost.
If you need to leave earlier than your departure date, you are still liable for total cost of the stay. If there are exceptional circumstances for the early departure, we reserve the right to review our policy amend if necessary for the individual guest.

If you do not arrive without notice and letting us know, you remain liable for the full cost of the booked stay.

If you have booked a non refundable stay, there is no refund available after booking.

3. Arrivals & Departures

Arrivals are from 2.00pm - 6pm, however please call ahead if you need an earlier or later arrival and we will do our best to make flexible arrangements for you. If the room is ready and you arrive early, we will be more than happy to check you in.

Rooms must be vacated by 10.30 am please.

Pick up from Torquay train or coach stations & Exeter airport by prior arrangement. We are happy to collect and drop off guests and make their arrival smooth and stress free.

4. Meals

There is no allowance given for meals not taken.
Take out meals can be eaten in the dining room.

5. Payment

Payment may be made by debit/credit card, or cash or preferably bank transfer if possible.

6. Facilities

All rooms have silent fridge with filtered water,  tea & coffee making facilities, smart TV with Netflix, Alexa, hair dryer, ironing board & iron. 
We have a beautiful south facing garden with plenty of seating outside with tables where you can enjoy a drink or takeaway meal if you wish.

7. Hotel Policies

To comply with the law we now have a non-smoking policy within Bentley Lodge. Smoking can take place in the garden, please use the ash tray provided. We only allow vaping outside the house.

We do not allow stag or hen parties.
